GROWING READERS AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROJECTS

YOUNG AUTHORS PROJECT: A writing contest which encourages students and educators to write to a theme with the possibility of being published statewide

PEDIATRIC BOOK PALS: A partnership with the Pediatric Specialty Clinic in Greenville, NC to provide books for children, as well as literacy materials and resources for parents

EARTH DAY EXPO: A collaboration with ECU to unite with several organizations to provide learning opportunities for children about the importance of taking care of our world around us.
